Future roles

John is set to play Morales in West London Opera's exciting production of Carmen in May 2010. Bizet’s ever popular opera never fails to delight the audiences with its dramatic depiction of Spanish love, hate and jealousy. This is John's first role with WLO and he joins a superb cast for this exciting opera.

Verdi's masterpiece of political backstabbing, A Masked Ball, will be a first for John as he takes on the role of the disgruntled and disaffected sailor, Silvanno. The adventurous Southgate Opera will perform this in July 2010 at The Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar.

John's operatic roles include The Notary (Don Pasquale), Antonio (Marriage of Figaro), Don Bartalo (Marriage of Figaro), Superintendent Bud (Albert Herring), The Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance), Judd Fry (Oklahoma), Papageno (The Magic Flute), Arac (Princess Ida), 4th Yeoman (Yeoman of the Guard), The Sacristan (Tosca), The Marquis (La Traviata), Dan Caire (Carmen), King Charles II (Rochester's Second Bottle), Ferrando (Il trovatore) John (Jane Eyre, World Premiere), Samuel (Pirates of Penzance).

John's oratorio work includes Schubert's Mass in G, Israel in Egypt (Handel) and The Crucifixion (Stainer) but he has the flexibility to sing musical theatre as well.
